Joseph W. Petrella joined AndersonGlenn in 2023 as a remote associate in Tampa. Prior to joining AndersonGlenn, Mr. Petrella worked for a large national firm with a specialization in property insurance defense. Mr. Petrella has litigated numerous cases for several of the nation’s largest insurance carriers. He was admitted to The Florida Bar shortly after graduating from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in September of 2021. While attending law school, Mr. Petrella was a member of the Nova Trial Team, made the Dean’s List every year, and graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Petrella specializes in insurance defense and warranty law. Prior to law school, Mr. Petrella worked as a legal assistant for a criminal defense firm in Tallahassee, Florida, representing clients involved in petty misdemeanors up to federal felony cases.

Life Beyond the Bar
In addition to his passion for law, Mr. Petrella loves FSU football, hunting, boating, history, and traveling. When he is not working, Mr. Petrella is often taking his dogs up to Georgia to run the trails on his family’s farm or ride around on the local lake.
